Brian Crow

Brian Crow, 58, of Potomac, Il, left this earth on August 6, 2022. Brian is the son of Dennis Crow and Janet (Kay) Crow of Oakwood IL. He was born on January 19, 1964 in Jacksonville, IL. Brian was a graduate of Oakwood High School in 1983. After high school, Brian served in the Marine Corps from 1983 until 1987. Once Brian was discharged from the Marine Corps, he met the love of his life, Shannon Daugherty. They wed on June 24, 1989. They have two children, Shelby Crow and Travis (Autumn) Crow. Brian worked in the elevator industry for thirty years, following in his fathers footsteps.

Brian was loved by many and Brian loved many things. One of the things he was incredibly passionate about was his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Brian had a second love of his life also. That was his granddaughter, Teal. He did everything with her from teaching her to ride a bike, to playing in the pool, to riding in tractors. Brian had the most giving soul. He put everyone before himself, and that trait followed him until his final days.

Brian will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Shannon; daughter, Shelby; son, Travis (Autumn); mother, Kay; and granddaughter, Teal. He is proceeded in death by his father, Dennis and his brother, Jeff.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Military Rites will accorded by American Legion Post 210.

The family requests that casual attire be worn for visitation and services.

Memorial may be made in Brians memory to St Judes Childrens Hospital.
