Brewster Coburn

Brewster Franklin Dog Coburn Jr. 67of Tilton passed away peacefully at his daughter home from natural causes. He was born on October 24, 1941, in Danville, the son of Brewster and Mary Coburn. Both deceased. On October 24, 1988, Brewster married Marilyn (Ames) Coburn. She preceded him in death in 2006. Survivors include his two sons: Kent (Kathy) Coburn of Florida, and Jason (Paula) Coburn of Danville. Three daughters, Angel (Sherri) Coburn of Danville, Jadii (Scott) Rodgers of Champaign, and Nova Coburn (Joe Miller) of Champaign. Brewster is also survived by his six grandchildren, Amber Coburn, Joshua Coburn, Taylor Pierce, Jaedon Rodgers, Maggie Rodgers, and Bailee Coburn, as well as his two brothers, Ronald Coburn of Ridge Farm, Robert Coburn of Danville, and his sister, Maxine. His three best friends, Ollie Johnson, Gryder, Rose Watson, and many of his brother and sister-in-laws will also miss him. Brewster worked for Allied Waste and retired as a teamster. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, listening to the Chicago Cubs on the radio, talking politics, and playing horseshoes.
