Brenda Keele

Brenda Keele, 53, of Tilton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 7, 2015. She was born to William and Joy (Sigler) Keele on November 3, 1961 in Danville. Brenda is survived by six siblings William (Sandy) Keele of Port St. Lucie, Fl., Larkin Keele of Hoopston, Sharon Wright of Danville, Karen (Larry) Cole of Westville, Laury (Allen) Alford of Danville and Annestes (Robert) Steveson of Tilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Brenda was a Sergeant in the United States Army serving from 1982-1986. She enjoyed reading, watching movies but most of all loved spending time with her family. Brenda enjoyed family gatherings and was generally the life of the party, always making people laugh. The five sisters were very close and Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held at Danville National Cemetery on Friday September 11, 2015 at 2:00pm. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements. At the family's request in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the family to cover the funeral expenses.
