Boyd Gosser

Boyd Gosser, 80, of Williamsport, IN, passed away on March 15, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on January 12, 1936 in Irving Store, KY, the son of Arlis and Delsie (Withers) Gosser. Boyd married Barbara Long on May 26, 1956 in Williamsport, IN and she still survives. He will be deeply missed by his wife, daughters; Myra Jo Moran, Christy Lee Stiner and Cindy Marie Williams, nine grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, twelve step great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Della Gosser, daughter, Joyce Ann Gosser, three brothers, four sisters and his beloved dog "Roxy". Boyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather and family man. He worked at Harrison Steel in Attica, IN as a supervisor for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, farming and gardening. His family will miss him dearly. Per Boyd's wishes the family will have a Celebration of Life memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in his name to the American Alzheimer's Association. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville is in charge of arrangements.
