Bonnie S. Lane

Bonnie S. Lane, 63, of Belgium, passed away at 7:48pm, Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at her home. She was born on November 30, 1954, in Danville, the daughter of Paul Verhoeven and Elizabeth {Nickle} Edwards, both deceased. Bonnie loved her family and being able to spend time with them. She enjoyed her grandchildren and especially enjoyed watching her granddaughter in the marching band. She enjoyed going on the area ghost rallys and watching tv with her favorite shows being COPs and Blue Bloods. Bonnie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her animals whom she loved very much. Bonnie is survived by: her son, Shawn (Tricia) Peterson; her daughters, Mandee (Edward) Buford and Lindsee (Jordan) Decker; her brother, Randy (Laura) Verhoeven; her sister, Karla (Rob) Juvinall; and her two grandchildren, Mylee Buford and Elias Lierman. A Memorial Visitation will be held 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown. As were her wishes, she will be cremated.
