Bonnie J. Lane

Bonnie J. Lane, 69, of Danville passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on January 13, 1948 in Danville, the daughter of Francis and Betty (Thompson) Lane. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her seven siblings; Claudia (Ken) Pickard of Danville, Marilyn Sollars of Bloomington, IL, Olivia (Mark) Kuchefski of Bloomington, IN, Cathy (Richard) Jones of Tilton, Francis Lane of Danville, Joseph Lane of Tilton and Stephen (Pam) Lane of Danville, 16 nieces and nephews, cousins; JoAnne Taggert, Susie Kutter and aunt, Linda Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bonnie graduated from St. Joseph's grade school in 1962 and Schlarman high school in 1966. She was a caring, loving, generous person who blessed everyone with her giving and kind nature. Bonnie has finally found her true home with her Heavenly Father. She found much joy in crafts and playing cards with her family and friends. Bonnie's family is so grateful to the staff at New Focus for providing their special care for Bonnie. A visitation will be held for Bonnie on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 10-11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Graveside services will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery at 11:30 AM with Fr. Loftus officiating.
