Bonnie Crose, 70, of Danville passed away on Monday morning September 1st, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Bonnie was born on January 5th, 1944 in Jamesburg, IL to Vivian and Dora Poulson. Bonnie married David Crose on May 5th, 1999. He survives. Also surviving are two sons; Randy (Janae) Kegeris and Rick (Michelle) Kegeris; one daughter, Mindy (Justin) Kegeris-Leevey; one-step-son, Anthony Crose; one-step-daughter, Brenda (Dale) Caudill; one daughter-in-law, Valerie Kegeris, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a very special niece, Nita Lawson and special friend Sally Gooch. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; one son Larry “Skip” Kegeris; two sisters Lois Tuttle and Sissy Lawson, one brother Buck Poulson; one step-daughter-in-law, Dea Crose and grandson; Cole Trussler. Bonnie enjoyed gardening with David, being outside in the sun, shopping, cooking, but the most enjoyment Bonnie had was to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked as a nurse at VA Illiana Medical Center in Danville. A Celebration of Bonnies life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday September 5th, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday September 4th, 2014 at 4:00pm- 8:00pm. Memorials may be made in Bonnies name to Miles of Hope to Cure Type 1 Diabetes.
