Bonnie L. Brown

Bonnie L. Brown, 94, of Danville, IL passed away with her family by her side on March 27, 2026 at 4:24 AM at her home in Danville.

Bonnie was born on December 24, 1931 the daughter of Richard and Severne (Claywell) Spencer in Danville, IL. She married Arthur Leo Brown on March 6, 1949 in Jamestown, IN and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1991.

Survivors include her sons, Gerald W. (Barbara Jean) Brown, Bruce A. Brown, Richard D. (Tammy) Brown, Kenneth E. (Angie) Brown and Jospeh E. Brown, her daughters, Bonnie J. (Roger) Green, Pamela S. (Brad) Zorns, Brenda K. (Robert) Laird, and Lori Anne Brown. Her thirty-two grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Bonnie is also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Richard William Spencer, Merlin Spencer, Harriett Armstrong and Elizabeth Myrick and one infant grandchild.

Bonnie enjoyed spending her free time crocheting and embroidery work, gardening and tending to her flowers, watching the birds and feeding her hummingbirds, listening to music, working on puzzles and was the greatest of all time Chinese Checkers champion.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Miles Clark will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home in Danville, IL
