Danville - Bobbi Lindahl, 68, passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL. She was born on October 3, 1947 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Adrian "Ajax" & Dorothy (Roy) Fullerton. Bobbi married Bruce Lindahl on November 18, 1972 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Danville. Bobbi is survived by her husband; son Dr. Anthony "Tony" Blake (Jennifer Kubon Lindahl) Lindahl; and granddaughter Norah Adrianna Lindahl. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Sheryl. Bobbi graduated from Culver Stockton College in 1969 and was a school teacher for 34 years in district 118 schools including; Douglas, Daniel, Grant, Lynch, Southwest, Garfield, & Tilton. She was proud to follow in her father's footsteps as a lifelong educator. Bobbi was a loving wife, mother, and "Mimi" to her granddaughter, and she looked forward to spending time with family on holidays. She had a genuine care and compassion for people and was willing to help anyone in need. Bobbi was a diehard U of I fan. She was competitive with great sportsmanship, and played slow pitch softball until age 51. Bobbi loved animals, especially dogs, she enjoyed gardening in the spring, and she liked traveling. She was active in the community with the Danville Jaynecees, Relay for Life Cancer Walk, Danville Women's Intuition, and Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 9, 2016 from 9am-11am at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Memorial service will follow at 1pm at Bethel Lutheran Church in Danville.
