Champaign - Billy G. McCray, 60, of Champaign passed away at 5:45 PM on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. He was born on June 25, 1955 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Tommy Moore, Jr., and Doris Jean McCray. He married Iona McCray, who survives. He is also survived by three children, Michael (LaShae) McCray, Sr. of Champaign, Christie (Michel) McCray-Yop of Mattoon, and Renee McCray of Urbana; his mother, Doris; four brothers, Lonnie (Alice) Moore of Indianapolis, Jimmy (Gwen) Moore of Chester, VA, Tommy (Lisa) Moore of Chicago, and Jeffrey Moore of Urbana; seven sisters, Louise (Anthony) Johnson of Bloomington, IL, Betty (George) Archie of Bloomington, IL, Deloise (Darrell) Ruffin of Champaign, Angela Moore of Westland, MI, Dorothy (Don) McDonald of Champaign, Mary Moore of Indianapolis, and Joycelyn Dillon of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Alicia Moore, Rodge' McCray-Kyse, Carmen Smith, Carla Smith, Michael McCray, Jr., and Terrance Jameson McCray; and three great-grandchildren, Lila McCray, Aubree McCray, and Vincent Cacha, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Gregory Moore.
