Billy Keith Morris

Billy Keith Morris, age 79 of Georgetown, passed away Monday, December 20, 2015 at 6:00 PM at his home. He was born November 18, 1936 in Georgetown, the son of Walter and Lela (Cornwell) Morris. Billy married Marsha Mockbee on August 23, 1974 in Georgetown, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Nora (Jeff) Clem of Williamsport, IN; his grandson, Duncan Clem; brothers, Alfred (Belva) Morris of Georgetown and John (Mary Lou) Morris of Cates, IN; sister, Beverly Blackburn of Alabama; and 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Norma Mariority, Dixie Ingram, Betty Guildersleeve, and his best friend and partner in crime, Wid Morgan. Billy worked at Tee-Pak as a lab technician for over 40 years. He proudly served his country in the US Navy on the USS Rankin. There he worked on telecommunications. His friends and family remember him as being fun-loving, social, and dependable. Billy loved to golf, fish, and hunt. He enjoyed life and lived every day to its fullest. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 4-6 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville.
