Billy D White

Billy D. White, "Drywall", went to be with all those who have gone before him on at 3:33 PM Saturday, July 30, 2016. He was 89 years old. He was born May 22, 1927 in Collison the son of Edgar and Rena (Parsons) White. He was married to the loved of his life Phyllis for 64 years. She passed away February 10, 2016. Billy was a very hard working man in his trade until he was in his 80's. He was a genuine man of his word and dedicated union man. Memories are cherished by every one that had the privilege of knowing who he was. Whether it be in his painter's whites and covered in taping mud or standing tall in his boots and hat, "Just another day" you would say, but today is a great day for we know in our hearts you wanted to go. You left us fulfilled with dignity, love, and kindness. Billy is survived by his daughter, Beth Ann; sons, Eddie Dean (Julie), Joey (Heather), Wesley (Heather), and Richard Onley; grandchildren, Charity, Jessica, Jake, Dustin, Alexus, Zachariah, Emalee, Tyler Strako, and Logan Kirby; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, and son, David "Billy". A celebration of Billy's life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 5, 2016 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. Pastor James Wagahoff will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
