Danville Bhikhiben Bhakta, 87, of Danville passed away on December 3, 2020 at 6:13 PM at her home in Danville, IL.

Bhikhiben was born on June 25, 1933 in Gujarat, India the daughter of Durlabhbhai and Laduben Bhakta. She married Govindbhai Bhakta in 1953 and he preceded her in death in March 2000.

Survived by Natubhai & Surekhaben Bhakta of Danville, IL, Bhanuben & Natvarbhai Bhakta of Yokum, TX, Kusumben & Sanmukhbhai Bhakta of Corpus Christi, TX, Sumitraben & Tarunbhai Bhakta of Odem, TX, and Naynaben & Rohitbhai Bhakta of Corpus Christi, TX. 12 grandchildren, Hetal & Rimpal Bhakta, Seema and Niral Bhakta, Premal and Leena Bhakta, Reena and Nimesh Patel, Mayuri Bhakta, Ritesh & Pami Bhakta, Rushabh & Shivani Bhakta, Teena & Ketan Bhakta, Priya & Vikash Bhakta, Roshan & Sonia Bhakta, Priyanka Bhakta, and Miraj Bhakta. 11 great grandchildren, Krish, Luxsh, Diya, Sarina, Aliya, Kailen, Kiyan, Sydney, Aiden, Aria, and Zayne

Bhikhiben is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Govindbhai, two brothers, Dahyabhai and Thakorbhai and one sister, Lilitaben

Bhikhiben enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, praying, cooking, traveling, watching Indian serials, and reading.

She was a sweet, gentle, and caring woman. She will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her.

There will be a Private Family Celebration of Life on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 8, 2020 from 5:00 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
