Beverly Jean Whitington 75, of Danville passed away at 5:15 a.m. Sunday March 13, 2011 at Provena USMC. She was born on September 17, 1935 in Georgetown the daughter of Claude and Mabel Bell Powell Feezor. Beverly had married Russell Whitington on August 25, 1954. Those who will miss her are her children; Russell (Deanna) Whitington Jr of Paris, Victoria (Daryl) Smith of Ridge farm, Janet (Tim) Graves of Ridge farm and Sue Lappin of Danville, also nine grandchildren; Jim Morgan, Joshua and Justin Mills, Nicholas and Erica Whitington, Amanda Bell, Miranda and Robert Shepherd and Tara Lappin, twelve great-grandchildren and one brother William (Donna) Feezor of Missouri, also three sisters in-law; Wilmetta Feezor of Indianola, June Feezor of Bismark and Naomi Feezor of Gary, In. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Claude Jr, Melvin and Herman Feezor. Beverly had worked and retired from Chuckles Candy Co in Danville from 1974 to 1997. She was a member of the Olivet Nazarene Church in Olivet and a member of local union # 455. She enjoyed puzzles and word searches, shopping, fishing and long rides in the country. Beverly was a big Elvis fan but most of all she loved her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of life funeral service for Beverly will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 16, 2011 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home. Officiating will be Pastor James Blue. Visitation for Family and Friends will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday March 15, 2011 at the funeral home. Place of rest will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown.
