Beverly J. Wendell

Danville- Beverly J. Wendell, 77, of Danville passed away at 6:49 AM on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on March 4, 1935 in Danville to Horace C. and Dorothy M. Martin Glass. Surviving are two daughters, Vicki (Jerry) Frazier of Danville and Lori (Bruce) Coleman of AZ; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Dawn) Collins, Daniel Collins, and Amanda Gibbs; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Barnes, Corinne Gibbs, and Kole Collins; and a special-niece, Paula (Joe) Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Glass. Beverly had been a Book Binder at Recording and Statistical for over 35 years and was a member of Second Church of Christ in Danville. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed reading, and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. A graveside service for Beverly Wendell will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Services will be for family only. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
