Beverly J. Noonan

Gurnee, IL - Beverly J. Noonan, 65, of Gurnee, IL, formerly of Champaign, passed away at 11:36 AM on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born on April 9, 1950 in Urbana to Paul and Ellen (Ryan) Noonan. They preceded her in death. She is survived by four siblings, Terry (Tom) Cassidy of Cheyenne, WY, Bernie (MaryAnne) Noonan of Overland Park, KS, John (Donna) Noonan of Bloomington, IL, and Pat (Ellen) Noonan of Champaign, IL; 13 nieces and nephews, and 10 great-nieces and nephews. Bev was an RN and worked in all facets of nursing for 40 years. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Springfield IL in 1968, received her Nursing Degree from Parkland College in 1970, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Joseph College in 1978. Most recently, she worked as a private duty nurse for children. Bev was also a member at St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth, IL. A Mass for Beverly Noonan will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Patrick's Church in Urbana. Father Joe Hogan will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM, prior to Mass at the church. Sunset's Champaign-Urbana Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
