Beverly Hill

Danville Beverly Hill, 92, of Danville, IL passed away at 9:01 AM on May 28, 2023 at Hawthorne Inn in Danville, IL.

Beverly was born on October 10, 1930 the daughter of Howard Goodwin and Lois Fern (Willoughby) Hill in Danville, IL. She married William Joseph Grant on November 24, 1948 in Danville, IL, she later married Gerald Gene Pettus on November 1, 1969 in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on March 22, 1976. After Genes death she married Andrew Louis Slavik on June 10, 1978 and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1980 and then married Walter Paul Barnes on August 31, 1982 in Holly, NY and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1995.

Survivors include four grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, and two children, Bonnie Jean Grant and Howard Joseph Grant.

As per Beverlys wished private services will be held and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made in Beverlys memory to the Danville Rescue Mission or Dayspring Women's and Children's Shelter.
