Beverly Estes

Danville Beverly May Estes, 85 of Danville< IL passed from this life on April 4, 2023.

Bev was born in Danville, IL the daughter of Roy and Hazel (Cross) Weddle on April 17, 1937. She married Thomas "Joe" Estes on October 3, 1953 in Danville and would have celebrated their 70th Anniversary this year.

Bev is survived by her husband, Thomas "Joe" Estes, her three children, Rick (Glenda) Estes of Danville, IL, Teresa Vance of Tilton, IL and Tammy Pickering of Westville, IL, She was blessed with ten grandchildren, Thai (Shelbi) Pichon of Florida, James Vance of Las Vegas, Kourtni Vance of Danville, IL, Danny (Amber) Vance of Westville, IL, Zack Pickering of Georgetown, IL, Zoee (Zach) Troxel of Westville, IL, Cameron (Jamie) Estes of Indianapolis, IN, Jamie (Scott) Blackson of Wentzville, MO, Scott (Kara) Howard of Bismarck, IL and Candy Estes of Danville, IL. She is also blessed with 17 great grandchildren, Kaden, Keason, Jaxon, Elizabeth "Izzy", Chloe, Izeyah, Brysen, Brinley, Ryder, Amelia, Destinie, Scott Jr., Gabriella, Alex, Isabella, Carson, Elizabeth "Eme".

Bev is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Naomi "Jean" Anderson and one brother, Ron Weddle.

Bev worked in the cafeteria as a "Lunch Lady" at Washington Grade School in Danville, IL. She lived to play B.I.N.G.O., going out to eat with her family, spending time with her great grandchildren and was the matriarch of the family that kept us all together.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Raymie Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1-3:00 PM at the funeral home.
