Beverly Baughman

Beverly Ann Baughman, 84, of Danville, died at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2007, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born August 22, 1923, in Danville, the daughter of Elmer A. and Agnes E. (Houston) Olson. She married Keith Baughman on August 5, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2002. Beverly is survived by one son, Keith (Jackie) Baughman of Mapleton, IL; one daughter, Janice (Richard) Elwell of Danville; one sister, Margaret (James) LaForest of St. Clair Shores, MI; nine grandchildren, Susan (Lee) Johnson of Bellevue, NE, Cindy (Chuck McBride) Jumps of Batestown, Vicki Elwell of Westville, IL, Richard Elwell of Bloomington, IL, Jim (Kim) Stanton of Georgetown, IL, Keith Alan (Pearl) Baughman of Danville, Brett (Jacque) Baughman of Woodland Hills, CA, Brandy Baughman of Peoria, IL and Mike Baughman of St. Petersburg, FL; twenty-three great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who were dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Elmer Olson, Jr. and William Warren Olson; one sister, Joann Bina; two grandchildren, Mike Elwell and Lisa McBee; one great-grandchild, Jessica Stanton and one dear friend, Marie Bailey. Beverly had worked at General Electric in Danville with over 25 years experience. She was active in Dan G.E. and had served as past president. Beverly enjoyed reading, watching T.V. and was the photographer at all family gatherings. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all. A celebration of Beverlys life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Darren Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the funeral home.
