Beverly Ann Kimberlin, 80, of Danville, Illinois passed away on July 23, 2010 at Eagle Creek Rehabilitation Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Beverly was born February 14, 1930 in Potomac, Illinois to Estel Elijah and Lydora Alice (Goodwine) Vinson. She attended school in the Collison"Fithian area and was a graduate of Oakwood High School. On June 25, 1949 she married Kenneth T. Dearth. The couple had three children. Mr. Dearth preceded her in death on April 12, 1953. Beverly later married Clifford D. Kimberlin on August 16, 1958 at McKinley Methodist Church in Danville. The couple had three additional children. She is survived by her husband, Cliff, and six children: Mari F. (Dale L. Ross of Oakwood, IL, Carolyn S. Dearth of Danville, IL, Gary A. Dearth of Sharpsville, IN, Merna A. Perrin of Danville,IL, Aaron Colby (Victoria M.) Kimberlin of Peoria, Arizona and Toni K. (Curtis D.) Towne of Danville, IL. Ten Grandchildren: Erin (Craig) Cunningham of Oakwood,IL, Brooke (Andy ) Smith of St.Joseph, IL, Jeremy Dearth of Danville, IL, Kenny and Kayla Dearth of Lafayette, IN, Haley and Brody Kimberlin of Peoria, AZ, Emma, Ava and Maya Towne of Danville. Also two great-grandchildren: Jackson and Jordyn Cunningham of Oakwood. IL. She is also survived by one sister, Peggy E. Pulver of Highland Village, TX; four sister-in"laws: Inez Kimberlin and Jean Bullias of Danville, IL, Ruth Dearth of Florida and Ruth Fletcher of Oakwood, IL.; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, good neighbors and church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Paul Vinson; one sister, Shirley Wagle and a son-in-law, Brad Perrin Beverly was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville where she taught Sunday School for 13 years. Her house and backyard were always filled with children where she operated a daycare for over 30 years. Beverly was active in numerous organizations including the Eunice Society and the PTL at Trinity and Danville Lutheran School, the Green Meadow Girl Scout Council, the Danville Lioness, and Vermilion County Home Extension. Beverly enjoyed camping, sewing, traveling, playing the piano and listening to music. She collected Longaberger baskets, Boyds Bears, and never felt fully dressed without her jewelry. Her favorite pastime was cooking and baking one of her many recipes to share with her large family and friends. Beverly was an enthusiastic family historian whose greatest source of pride was sharing the lives of her children and their families through generous amounts of photographs. A Celebration of Beverlys life will be held at 10:00 am ,Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville, IL. with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the Lutheran Cemetery in Danville, IL. Memorials can be made to Danville Lutheran School.
