Beverly Ann Gay, 72, of Westville, passed away at 5:45am, Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, Danville. She was born on September 21, 1937, in Newton, IL, the daughter of Aaron and Nina Cleo (Marker) Williams, both deceased. She was married to Wayne Sergent Sr. with whom she had two children; Wayne Jr. & Debbie Sergent, and was later married to the love of her life, Donald Jiggs Gay and together they had three children; Julia, Donna Lee, & Kevin Ray Gay. She will be dearly missed by: her children, Wayne Sergent Jr., Debbie Sergent, & Julia (Tim Fairchild) Gay, all of Westville; her stepchildren, Donald Gay Jr. & Robin Burton, both of Westville; her grandchildren, Bruce Biage II, Starla Malinowsky, Jeremy Scott Haquet, Justin Wayne Sergent, Johnny Haquet II, Devin Wayne Gay, Kai Hazel II, Kevin Ray Gay II, Chelsey Gay, Austin Gay, Skylar Gay, & Tammy Jean Wilson; her great grandchildren, Lexi Biage, Addison Blakeney, Aubriana Biage, Marabella Biage, Josiah Malinowsky, & Katie OShea; her brother Aaron Williams Jr.; and her sister, Sandy Lyons. Beverly was preceded in death by: her daughter, Donna Lee Gay; her son, Kevin Ray Gay; her grandson, Joshua Shane Biage; her eight brothers & sisters; and two nephews, Andy Lyons & Richard E. Lyons Jr. Beverly retired from General Motors Tilton Foundry and then later worked for her daughter at Julees Shooting Star Tavern. She enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and tending to her flowers. Beverly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She lived with her son, Kevin, until his passing then she went to live at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home. Beverly was an exceedingly fun-loving person and was loved very much and will be missed by many. A celebration of Beverlys life will be held at 5:00pm, Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Visitation will be held 2pm to 5pm, Sunday before the service. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com .
