Beulah Groce

Danville - Beulah Groce, 78, of Oakwood, passed away on April 22, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on October 17, 1935 in Milford, IL, the daughter of Martin and Mary (McCann) Buss. She married John Groce on June 26, 1955 in Milford, IL and he still survives. Beulah will be deeply missed by her husband, one son, John Groce of Danville, two daughters, Mary (Dennis) Reed of Oakwood, Cindy (Tracy) Fairchild of Oakwood, one sister, Arlene Tony of Wingate, IN, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Alvin and Ralph Buss and one sister, Carolyn Leppard. Beulah traveled around playing gospel music with John for several years, she loved crocheting, baking, cooking, decorating the house and yard, sitting on the porch swing watching the birds and nature. She also loved making dolls and was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A celebration of Beulahs life will be held on Friday April 25, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel with Pastor Patti Wise officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made in her name to the charity of the donors choice.
