Betty Weaver

Betty Jean (Pearman) Weaver, 94, of Newport, IN, went to meet her heavenly Father to receive her crown of glory, on Saturday July 1, 2023 in Clinton, IN. She was born the daughter of George and Della (Harrison) Pearman on June 18, 1929 in Newport, IN. She married Robert Weaver, he preceded her in death.

Betty leaves behind her children; Stephen Darrell (Kimberly Wehr) Weaver, Michael Lee Weaver, Gregory Gene Weaver, "Scooter" Dennis (Jamie) Weaver, Deborah Lynn Terlizzi and Brenda Joyce Cutrell (John) Alter, her grandchildren; Jason Terlizzi, Mia Cutrell (Jake) Schmitt, Hanna Weaver, Dalton Weaver, Wesley and Shelly Weaver, Christine Weaver and Stephanie Moudy and many great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandsons, three brothers and four sisters.

Betty was a devout Christian woman who belonged to the Newport Church of God. She loved going to church and worshipping. She also enjoyed baking, visiting friends, cleaning house, and taking care of her family. Betty will be missed by all that knew her.

A Celebration of Bettys Life will be at 1pm on Thursday July 6, 2023 at Sunsets DeVerter Chapel, 215 N Division Street Cayuga, IN 47928. With a visitation 11-1 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Thomas Cemetery Newport, IN. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Newport Church of God in Bettys name.
