Betty See

Betty Jean See, 76 of Urbana, IL passed away January 14, 2007 at N. Logan Health & Rehab. She was born November 24, 1930 in Danville daughter of Abe and Ruth Clark Meeks. She married Warren W. See on November 24, 1948. He preceded her in September of 1999. Survivors include daughters: Debbie (Gene) Odear of Ste Genevive, MO, Teri (Mike) Glines of Ridgefarm, Pam Carter of Danville, and Tina (Larry) Happ of White Heath, IL, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, brothers: Robert Meeks of Tilton and Larry Meeks of Rock Island, sister: Nancy Davis of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandra Susie Suzanne, two brothers and a sister. Betty was a 1998 graduate of Parkland College and retired from Hobbico. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, and crafts. A Celebration of Bettys life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street in Danville with Gene Odear officiating. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home will bed laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
