Betty S. Bott

Betty S. (Kelly) Bott, 81, of Tilton, passed this life by peacefully going to sleep at home on May 19, 2013 at 9:15 am. She was born on December 2, 1931 in Dahlgren, IL to John J. Kelly and Pauline (Kelly) Boyd. Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold F. Bott. She is also survived by two children- Kathy S. Bott of Tilton and Kelly J Bott of Westville, one sister- Maureen Kelly Hegg of West Lebanon, IN, and one brother- John R. Boyd of Tilton. Betty is a grandmother to six children- Aaron (Teri Lynn) Bott, Kandi (Nicholas) Pryor, Brandon Bott, Kylee (Stephanie) Bott, Brook Bott and Kaitlyn Bott. Also surviving are six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one very special aunt- Virginia Watts. She attended Oaklawn grade school and graduated from Danville High School in 1949. Betty was a faithful and pleasant employee of several healthcare providers. She was an ideal mother and home maker. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. A Celebration of Betty's Life will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Pastor Wade Martin officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
