After the passing of the love of her life, John in 2001, she enjoyed her retirement years with her family in Arizona. Betty retired as Banquet Manager of the Days Inn, Danville, IL. She was a blessed woman who enjoyed her children and work. She dedicated the majority of her life to the food industry where she took special pride in caring for the banquet needs of those in and outside the community. This was her second passion in life. Bettys favorite pastime was traveling, entertaining, and enjoying her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a strong sense of family and love for her children. Along with that came a deep pride in her children and their accomplishments. She always treated people with respect and dignity and we will miss her sweet and loving spirit.
