Betty Ramsey

Betty J. Ramsey, 90, of Georgetown, passed away at 11:28pm, Thursday, May 6, 2021, at her home. She was born on December 11, 1930, in Indianola, IL the daughter of James and Goldie {Sandlin} Hoskins, both deceased. She was married to James Ramsey until his passing in 1995. Betty is survived by her daughters, Joleen Sedlacek and Betty Jane (Keith) Bifolchi-Evans; her grandchildren, Nikki, Michele, Tammie, Renee, Jimmy, her many great grandchildren; her brother, Junior Hoskins; her several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers & 8 sisters. Betty enjoyed taking care of her family and loved them dearly. She was known by many and everyone who met her, loved her. She enjoyed watching "Little House on the Prairie" and on Sunday mornings, "Charles Stanley". One of her favorite pastimes was playing Bingo. She will be dearly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Bettys life will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor Dustin Wells officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service on Tuesday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola. It is kindly requested that all attendees wear face mask and practice social distancing.
