Betty Pratt, 87, of Danville passed away on December 31, 2017 at Hawthorne Inn Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on September 28, 1930 in Hoopeston, IL the daughter of Monte Lee and Bonnie Clair (Hurst) Morgeson. She married Warren H. Pratt on February 22, 1947 in Danville. He preceded her in death in 2004. Betty will be deeply missed by her children; Paula (Kenneth) Lewis of Neoga, IL, George (Diana) Pratt of Danville, Steve (Ruth) Pratt of Danville and Lisa (Keith Desanty) Pratt of Pekin, IL. Also surviving are 2 sisters; Maxine (Bob) Calvin, Bonnie (Joe) Friel, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four siblings and 2 great grandchildren. Betty worked at Danville Liberty School and was also a seamstress from her home. She loved knitting, quilting and crocheting. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her favorite. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 3 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Pastor Michael Heidle officiating. Visitation will be from 2-3 PM prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials can be made in her name to the charity of the donor's choice.
