Betty L. Miller, 80, of Danville, passed away at 1:45am on Monday, November 1, 2010 at the North Logan Health Care Center in Danville. She was born on April 11, 1930 in Urbana, IL, the daughter of Oliver K and Irma (Shultz) Fackler. She is survived and will be missed by her two children, Terry Miller, along with his friend, Connie, of Champaign, and her daughter, Marcia (Michael) Clutter of Rossville. Her four grandchildren, Katrina (Brian) Pierce, Richie Miller, Andrew (Tara) Clutter, Molly Clutter one great granddaughter, Amanda Miller, her step-brother, Charles (Farida) Wack of California, her half sister, Gerry (Fred) Thoman of Effingham, her aunt, Marie (John) Hussmann of Illinois, her special niece, Cheryl (Jim) Bunch of Indiana, as well as many other nieces and nephews also survive her. Her parents, both husbands, Richard E. Miller, Carl E. Smith, and her sister and brother-in-law, Ina (Ray) Seright preceded Betty in death. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville. She was employed at Hooks Drug Store, formerly, Harding Pharmacy until her retirement. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steele novels and spending time with her grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Bettys life will begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville with burial to take place at Atherton Cemetery at a later date. Pastor James Blue as been asked to officiate the service. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the funeral home. Per Bettys wishes, cremation rites will be performed at Sunsets onsite crematory under the immediate direction of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home Memorial donation may be made in Bettys name to the donors favorite charity.
