Betty Lou Bonesteel

Eugene, Ind. -- Betty Lou Bonesteel, 58, of Eugene, Indiana, passed away at 1:50 a.m. CDT Thursday (May 18, 2006) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. She was born May 30, 1947, in Danville, Illinos, the daughter of Louis O. and Mabel Hounshel Henderson. She married David W. Bonesteel on September 14, 1963 in Cayuga, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Brenda Lou Meeker of Danville, Illinois; Her mother, Mabel Henderson of Eugene, Indiana; A special grandson, Eric P. "Meeker" Bonesteel of Eugene, Indiana; Two brothers, Owen(Gail)Henderson of Kingman, Indiana and Rev. Johnny(Tammy)Henderson of Danville, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis O. Henderson. Betty was a member and currently serving as secretary of the Community Holiness Church in Cayuga, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening, helping people and working at the church. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the Community Holiness Church in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Jonah Dardar; Burial: Kingman Fraternal Cemetery in Kingman, Indiana; Visitation: Monday, May 22, 2006 from 2 to 8 p.m. EDT at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the Community Holiness Church.
