Betty Lanham

Betty Lanham, 87, of Georgetown, passed away at 5:12pm, Friday, January 27, 2022, at Autumn Fields, Tilton, IL. She was born on May 1, 1935, in Georgetown, the daughter of Kelton and Nellie {Clark} Harrold. She is survived by her son, Steve (Wynne) Lanham; her sister, Helen (Tom) Smith; and many nieces and nephews to whom she was lovingly known as "Aunt Tom". She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Chad Lanham; her brother, Jack Harrold; and her sister, Beverly Chrostowski. Betty worked at General Electric for many years. She was best known for making the pizzas at Caseys General Store. She loved to knit in her spare time. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Bettys life will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to donors choice of charity.
