Betty L. Linne

Danville - Betty L. Linne, 84, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015 at 4:26 a.m. at Colonial Manor in Danville, Illinois. Betty was born the daughter of Granville and Dollie Grubb on December 22, 1930 in Covington, Indiana. On September 12, 1954, Betty married John Linne in Danville Illinois. The two enjoyed 46 years of marriage until his passing on October, 7 2000. Betty is survived by her brothers Quentin (Rosemary) Grubb and Donald (Mary) Grubb; her sisters June Marie Stephens and Carolyn Stiffler; and her many loving nieces and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her father Granville, mother Dollie, and husband John. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday February 15, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor John Myers will officiate. Visitation will be the same day from 2-3 p.m. Services will end at the funeral home.
