BETTY L. JONES Betty L. Jones, 76, of Danville, passed away at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 at her home. Betty was born on July 28th, 1934, in Champaign, Illinois, the daughter of Eugene and Nora (Strater) Hambright. She married Charles Chuck R. Jones Jr. on August 18th, 1956 in Westville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on November 23rd, 2009. She is survived by a son- Eric E. Jones of Westville, two grandsons- Kyle (Brittney) Jones and Nick Jones both of Westville, great-granddaughter- Brooklyn Jones of Westville and a sister-in-law- Marie (Jim) Curtis of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Betty graduated from Westville High School in 1952. She worked for Illinois Bell for 11 years as an operator. She enjoyed dancing and watching her grandchildren play baseball. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 15th, 2011 at Monticello Cemetery in Monticello, Illinois.
