Betty Jean Frankino

Betty Jean (Guthrie) Frankino long-time Westville, IL resident passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024 in Lexington, KY. She was born in Sidell, IL in 1927 to Thomas and Mary (Leasure) Guthrie, attended Georgetown High School, and graduated from Danville Beauty School. Betty married Thomas Frankino of Westville, IL in 1944. She retired from the Chuckles candy factory in Danville, IL. after 20 years of service. Betty was the devoted mother to and is survived by daughter, Karen (Frankino) Stefaniak; son-in-law, Gene Stefaniak; grandsons, Gene Stefaniak, Jr. and Thomas Stefaniak; granddaughter, Sarah (Stefaniak) Musulin; and great-grandsons Andrew Stefaniak and Leo Musulin. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Mary; 2 sisters, Frances and Margaret; two brothers, Bob (twin) and Thomas (Jr); numerous nieces and nephews; and her husband Tom, of 72 years A graveside celebration of life is being planned for July 2024.
