Betty J. Watson

Betty J. Watson 76 of Danville passed away at 12:08 am Thursday December 23, 2004 at Provena Logan Campus. She was born April 7, 1928 in Danville the daughter of Alfred and Amanda Nease Bahls. Betty had married Wayne Watson on June 13, 1948 in Urbana; he preceded her on July 13, 1990. Surviving one son Randall (Debra) Watson of Catlin, one daughter Lisa (Bill) Unekis of Danville, two brothers Jim (Dorothy) Bahls of Thomasboro In, Robert Bahls of Mesa Az, one sister Marjorie Smith of Bismarck, three grandchildren Shannon Hughes of Ogden, Ashley Divan of Catlin, Baylee Watson Unikis of Danville. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and three sons. Betty had been living with her daughter Lisa for the past three years; she retired from IL Bell Telephone Co in 1986 and later worked for the Vermilion Co Clerks office. Betty was a 1946 graduate of Danville High School; she was a member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church of Danville. Betty enjoyed traveling and was a sports fan of the Illini. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
