Betty J. Rouse

Betty Joyce Rouse (Glover), age 71 of Danville, IL died peacefully with her family near her on August 29, 2018. She was born April 5, 1947 to Albert and Louise (Dimmich) Glover in Covington, In. Betty married Quinten Rouse on June 15, 1974. He survives her. Betty was a proud mother to her son, Scott (Marianne) Rouse. Betty most of all enjoyed every second of being a Mammaw to her grandchildren Sara and William. She treasured every chance she got to see them in a concert or in sports. She was so proud of her family. She graduated from Covington High School and received her nursing degree from Lakeview School of Nursing. She was employed for many years as a nurse at Lakeview then Provena United Samaritan's Medical Center in Danville. Betty enjoyed spending her time quilting, oil painting, and studying the Bible. Along with her husband, Quinten and her son Scott (Marianne) Betty is also survived by her mother, Louise Glover and sisters Brenda Glover, Beth (Carroll) Fordice. Brothers Billy Glover and Robert (Bob) Glover. Also survived by several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Glover and an infant sister Becky. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 11:00 AM EST Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Sunset's Covington Chapel 420 3rd St. Covington, IN 47932 with Pastor Anthony Stone officiating. Visitation will be held from 9-11 AM EST prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Osborn Prairie Cemetery. Memorials can be made in her name to Midwest Bible College.
