Betty J Cook

Betty J. Cook, 85, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 5:30pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Hawthorne Inn, Danville. She was born on September 28, 1926, in Ridge Farm, IL, the daughter of Ora and Gordie (Price) Phillips, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Robert Cook on April 18, 1952, until his passing. She is survived by her several nieces & nephews spread across the country. Betty was known for her amazing seamstress abilities, as well as, being a great cook. She enjoyed the holiday gatherings with her nieces & nephews. She was also a member of the Ridge Farm Ladies Home Extension. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel, Georgetown, with Pastor James Walker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty's name to donor's choice of charity.
