WESTVILLE - Betty J. Cline, 78, of Westville, went home to be with the Lord at 4:15am on Monday, April 4th, 2005, at her residence. She was born September 16th, 1926, in Newport, IN, the daughter of Clyde and Freda (Jackson) Wilfong. After her youth, Betty was united in marriage to Jackson Cline on December 23rd, 1942. He resides in Westville. Those who will miss Betty include: her four sons, Jerald (Tracie) Cline of Oakwood, Jeffrey Cline of Rantoul, David (Barbara) Cline, and Joseph (Peggy) Cline, both of Westville; her daughter, Jennifer Johnson (Tony House) of Westville; her daughter-in-law, Karen Bilstad also of Westville; her fifteen grand children; numerous great-grand children; many nieces and nephews. Her parents, her two sisters, Mary Kunkle and Mildred Bell, her two brothers, Forrest and Dale Wilfong and a son, James Cline, precede her in death. Betty attended high school in Newport, IN. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville and taught Sunday school class at the Foursquare Church in Danville. Her memberships included the Eastern Star, The White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Past Royal Matron of the Order of the Amaranth, as well as the Illiana Organaires. She was an avid bowler on the Wednesday Morning Coffee League in Ridge Farm, and in her youth was a very good roller skater. Betty enjoyed listening to organ music, and spending time with her family and friends.
