Betty I. Parker

Middleburg, Florida - Betty I. Parker, 85, formerly of rural Covington, Indiana, passed away at 12:15 p.m. EST Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Haven Hospice Care Center in Orange Park. She was born August 30, 1929 in Newport, Indiana, the daughter of the late John Arden and Mary Geneve Angelmyer Brown. She married Clyde D. Parker on November 23, 1968 in Cayuga, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1972. Survivors include one daughter, Melony(James)Cline of Middleburg, Florida; two sons, Jeffery Lynn Mullendore of Hawthorne, Florida and Jon Jay(Terrye) Mullendore of Clinton, Indiana; three grandchildren, Sara Wood; Christopher Mullendore and Dalton Mullendore; two great grandchildren, Cody Davis and Taylor Wood; two brothers, Charles A.(Joan)Brown of Terre Haute, Indiana and Fred Brown of Cayuga, Indiana. Betty was preceded in death by her son, Rick Mullendore; two sisters and two brothers. Betty worked as a cook in Rantoul, Illinois, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Newport Church of God. Betty enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and spending time with her family.
