Betty C Jones

Betty C. Jones, 82, of Chenoa, IL, formerly of Westville, passed away at 10:30am, Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Meadows Mennonite Nursing Home, Chenoa, IL. She was born on March 30, 1936, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Pearl and Crystal {McMahan} Trosper. She was married to Deward Jones on October 28, 1960, in Danville until his passing in 2012. She will be missed by: her sons, Dennis Stewart, Doug Miller, Randy Dulgar; her daughters, Debra (Dave) Harpenau, Pamela (Garth) Gardner, Susanne (Kenneth Adkinson) Ure, Kathy Pratt, Julie Bennett; her brother, Bill (Sue) Trosper; her sisters, Rickie (Mark) Keele & Joanne Vance; her seventeen grandchildren; and her 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her brothers, Robert Trosper, Morris Trosper; her sister, Shannon Trosper; her sons, Donald Jones, Todd Jones, Deward Jones II; and her granddaughter, Brittney Ure. Betty was a member of Grape Creek Baptist Church and loved traveling in her motor home. She managed storage facilities and was known to have a wonderful sense of humor. Betty's life revolved around her family and whom she loved cooking for. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank the Meadows Mennonite Nursing Home staff for all their support and care for Betty. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville.
