Betty Ann Chesrown

Betty Ann Chesrown, 80, of Danville passed away at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana on Friday October 20, 2017. Betty was born the daughter of Denise and Marcella (Fitzgerald) Towell on June 12, 1937 in Brockton, IL. Betty married Clive "Ted" Chesrown on June 26, 1954 in Paris, IL. He preceded her in death. Betty leaves behind four children; Mike (Terrie) Chesrown, Brenda (Bill) Phillips, Cindy (Stewart) Mercer and Carla (Billy) Bormann, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren, six siblings; Billy, Bob, Roger, Rita, Judy and Kay, many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandsons; Jason and Josh a brother Jim and sister Peggy. Betty worked for over twenty-eight years at Walgreens Accounting. Betty enjoyed watching TV, reading and most of all she loved the time she spent with her family. She always enjoyed donating to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Betty's wishes were to be cremated and have a private graveside service. She entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with her wishes.
