Betsy A. Dillon

Danville - Betsy A. Dillon, 76, of Danville passed away at 3:20 PM on Friday October 27, 2017 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, IL. Betsy was born on September 20, 1941 the daughter of John R. and Mary E. (Underwood) Henk in Danville, IL. She was formerly married to Ray Dillon. Survivors include her son Lance (Ashlee) Dillon of Danville, IL, her daughter Robin (Michael) Brown of Bismarck, IL, seven grandchildren, Lance Dillon II, Zane (Allison) Dillon, C. J. Ahrens, Marah (Scott) Showers, Trevor Brown, Britany (Troy) Funk and Ginger (Caleb) Brown, as well as ten great grandchildren, Boone, Kaden, Spencer, Gianna, Cash, Tavin, Asher, Brynn Dalton and Drew. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jerry Henk, one sister Janet Henk, two infant sons, Vincent Gregory and Timothy Allen Dillon as well as one daughter-in-law, Terra Dillon. Betsy worked as the dental office manager for Dr. Henry and later Dr. Lewis and retired in January of 2017. She enjoyed gardening and adored spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion Street Danville, IL. Pastor Michael Heidel will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will be accorded following service.
