Bernice P. Clapp

Bernice P. Clapp, 96, of Danville, passed away at 5:10am Friday February 24, 2006 at Danville Care South. She was born in Veedersburg, Indiana on December 4, 1909, the daughter of the late Ralph and Lucy (Martin) Lamb. She married Charles Henry Clapp on July 18, 1932, in Danville. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1999. Bernice is survived by one son, Henry (Barbara) Clapp of Danville; four grandchildren, Catherine (Jeff) Owen of Franklin, Indiana, David (Lisa)Clapp, Steven (Cheryl) Clapp, and Jonathon (Deanne) Clapp, all of Danville; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother. Bernice graduated from Danville High School, the class of 1927. She was a homemaker. She was an avid crossword puzzle worker. She enjoyed quilting and flower gardening.
