Bernice Andruski 96, of Indianola, entered the gates of heaven joining her parents, brothers and sisters and her lord and savior on Monday February 11, 2013 at 6:53 p.m. at Provena USMC. She was born July 3, 1916 in Indianola, the daughter of James and Goldia Sandlin Hoskins. She married Edward Andruski in April of 1933 in Danville, he preceded her in 1976. Those who will miss her are: her daughter, Joleen Sedlacek of Indianola; three sisters, Betty Ramsey of Georgetown, Deloris Luster of Danville, and Teresa Cummings of Danville; two brothers, James (Lois) Hoskins Jr of Indianola & Ron (Terri) Hoskins of Georgetown; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces & nephews; and her special companion, Donny McCool of Indianola. She was preceded in death by: her parents; thirteen brothers; and sisters. Bernice was a homemaker and loved gardening and canning, working on her home, vacationing in Piedmont, Mo, in her little log cabin in the woods. She was still chopping wood at 80 years old. Bernice was a member of the former Indianola Baptist church. During W.W. II she worked in an aircraft factory building Bombers in California. A celebration of life service for Bernice will be 1:00pm, Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola. Memorial contributions can be given to the Donor's choice.
