Bernard Kondracki, 86, of Georgetown, passed away at 11:20am, Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Presence USMC, Danville. He was born on June 27, 1928, the baby of the family of Stanley and Lucy {Gruska} Kondracki, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Joan Wooley on December 22, 1951. She survives. He is also survived by: his son, Richard (Tracy) Kondracki of Georgetown; his daughter, Susan Chernayskas; his grandchildren, Isabella, Shannon, Samantha, Darcy, Jennifer, Leslie, & Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Xander, Hannah, Nick, Riley, Gavan, Ethan, & Clare. He was preceded in death by his three sisters & 6 brothers. Bernard served in the US Army. He worked at General Motors Tilton Foundry for many years and retired 1980. He enjoyed feeding the birds & squirrels. He even got them to feed out of his hand. He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. As per his wishes, Bernard was cremated. Services were held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Kingdom Hall in Westville. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
