Bernard F. Mcconnell

Bernard Francis McConnell, 93, of Linton, IN passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. He was born in Vintondale, PA on September 5, 1927, the son of Edwin S. and Mary McConnell.

Bernard is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Bill) Sloan of Worthington, IN; grandson, Robert (Sarah) Sloan of Fishers, IN; grandchildren, Shelby Lynette, Sidney Katherine and Robert Samuel Sloan of Fishers, IN and sister, Rita Acker of Watkins Glenn, NY.

He is preceded in death by loving wife, Phyllis McConnell; parents, Edwin and Mary McConnell; daughter, Linda Kay McConnell and brother, Edwin S. McConnell Jr.

Bernard graduated from Vintondale High School in Vintondale, PA. He is a Veteran of the United Sates Navy and served in World War II. Bernard was a member of the Perrysville American Legion and VFW.

A Graveside Service will be held for Bernard at 10am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park 3901 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834.

In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made in Bernards name to the Special Olympics Indiana.
