Bernard Courson

Ann Arbor, MI - Bernard Courson, 62, formerly of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born on May 14, 1954 in Danville. He was a graduate of Danville High School and Southern Illinois University. Survivors include three brothers, Michael (Carol) Courson, David (Sandy) Courson, rural Danville, Larry (Joan) Courson of Dexter, MI and one sister, Kathy (Don) Deweese, Rossford, OH. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L. and Josephine (Berg) Courson. Ben was a financial consultant and co-owner of an investment firm for municipalities. Ben's wishes were to be cremated. No visitation is planned. Graveside rites will be conducted Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, IL at 11:00 am. Pastor Ed Stone will officiate.
