Bentley Kahne Wolfe, 15, of Chrisman, passed away at 5:49 AM on Friday, March 6, 2026, at OSF Healthcare St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with his family by his side. He was born April 3, 2010, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Jacob and Samantha (Fletcher) Wolfe.
Survivors include his parents Jacob (Josey) Wolfe of Chrisman and Samantha (Trent) Simpson of Chrisman; siblings Morgan Simpson, Ely Wolfe, Ty Krabel, Lucy Wolfe, Londyn Krabel, Hadley Wolfe, and Madalynn Wolfe; his maternal grandparents Mike and Laura Fletcher, Paternal grandparents Harry and Carissa Wiseman, paternal great grandparents Chuck and Kay Wolfe and paternal great grandmother Shirley Harvey; his girlfriend Randi Rollings and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Kristopher Wolfe and maternal great grandparents John and Shirley Fletcher.
Bentley was a sophomore at Chrisman high school where he played basketball, baseball and was active in the Chrisman FFA. He enjoyed tractors, trucks, anything to do with farming, riding his four wheelers, shooting guns, and hanging out with all his friends and his girlfriend.
A celebration of the life of Bentley Wolfe will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Chrisman High School, 23231 Illinois Route One, Chrisman, IL 61924. Officiating services will be Ken Crawford. Following services, he will be laid to rest at Franklin Cemetery in rural Chrisman, Illinois. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM prior to services at the school. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chrisman FFA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset’s Houghton Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, Illinois.
