GEORGETOWN- Benjamin Wilkerson Watts, 90, of Georgetown, passed away at 2:43am on Sunday, January 21, 2007, at the North Logan Health Care Center in Danville. Mr. Watts was born on June 22, 1916, in Potomac, IL, the son of Harrison and Linnie (Nicholas) Watts. Both his parents precede him in death. Mr. Watts married Ms. Madolyn Miller on November 1st, 1958, in Vermilion County. She survives and will miss him dearly. Other survivors include: his daughter, Kaye Mosier of Indianola; his step-son, Kenneth Miller of Danville; his two step-daughters, Anna Covarrubias of Springfield, IL, and Bonnie (Mike) Cox of Westville; his ten grandchildren, Dennis Tingley, Eric Harvey, Lacey Harvey, Tiffany Mosier, Lance Mosier, Lindsay Mosier, Daulton Davis, Emily Guilliani, Gracie Guilliani, and Chloe Guilliani; his five great-grandchildren, Trace Soda Harvey, Zoey Harvey, Anthony Harvey, Chandler Mosier, and Madisson Mosier; his eight step-grandchildren, Toby Cox, Trent Cox, Travis Cox, Kandy Cox, Erica Clark, Valina Snyder, Maria Covarrubias, and Joey Cline. His two daughters-Melody Harvey and Penny Guilliani precede Wilkerson in death. Wilkerson started his own landscaping business, and also worked as a general contractor. He enjoyed working and spending time with his family. A celebration of the life of Mr. Benjamin Wilkerson Watts is scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home located at 200 E. West St. in Georgetown. Final resting place will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm. Visitation will be between 4-8pm on January 24, 2007 at the funeral home.
