Becky Setser

GEORGETOWN- Rebecca A. Becky Setser, 53, of Georgetown passed away at 3:43am on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on July 6, 1951in Danville, the daughter of Hardy and Creldia (Thatcher) Clark. Both of her parents precede her in death. On February 27, 1993, she was united in marriage, in Danville, to Dale Setser. He survives and resides in Georgetown. Other survivors include one son; John (Heather) Tabor of Marshall, Il, and one daughter, Amy (Jason) Moore of Williamsport, Ind, as well as her two stepsons; Robert (Nora) Setser, and Greg (Lisa) Setser, both of Danville. Other family members include her three sisters, Patricia Pratt of Danville, Joyce Clark of Georgetown and June (John) Criswell of Tilton. Her nine grandchildren, Patty, Angela, Nicole, Ethan, Kimberly, Emma, Elise, Meghan, and Anna will all miss Grandma dearly. Becky will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews as well as many of her beloved friends. She is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jack Pratt. Becky was employed at the Mary Miller Jr. High School in Georgetown for 12 years as a cafeteria Cook in which she met many friends with whom she touched their hearts dearly. She was a Member of the 1st Church of Christ in Georgetown and enjoyed spending time with her devoted family and friends, but her only true hobby was spoiling her nine grandchildren on a daily basis. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
